Tools of the Trade

Tucked in an aspen grove, the architecture connects the roots of original homestead, the master bedroom suite, and adjacent bunk house, guest wing, with a contemporary curved “garden roof” main living space. A ground source loop under the driveway provides heating, cooling and hot water. Materials and lighting were selected to work with the client’s sensitivities. Local and reclaimed materials enhance the regional flavor of this energy-efficient, sustainable Colorado home.
