Reclaim and Educate

By reclaiming a stone quarry and using it as a source for heating and cooling, this educational center will be an exemplary project of resource and energy efficiency. Stone from the quarry will clad the building’s foundation, piers, main walls and central passive cooling (fireplace) tower. Beetle kill structural logs will transition from bark clad exterior columns to refined interior timbers.
